Mr. Zaku Matsu-san Retires from position as Senior Gunpla Desginer at Bandai Hobby Center

Ahh, one of the legendary senior Gunpla designer at Bandai Hobby Center Japan has officially retired.

Zaku Matsu-san (村松正敏 aka 'ザク松さん') , one of the most respected pioneer Bandai's senior Gunpla designer has officially retire from his position at Bandai Hobby Center. Zaku Matsu-san has contributed countless great efforts at Bandai in designing many of the awesome Gunpla model kits throughout his entire tenure with Bandai Japan.

Zaku Matsu-san has involved and made awesome contributions in the designing and productions of the initial Gundam plastic model kits and other related products as early as in the early 80's.

Coming to think that without the help most of the advanced computerized designing softwares and systems such as Photoshop, 3D Max and so on back in the 80's, Zaku Matsu-san and others still managed to give us all the awesome Gundam model kits, it is clearly seen that his works have made huge impact and creditable influence in the modern Gundams' and Gunpla designs until today.

Say 'Cheese' and smile Zaku Matsu-san, you look just as great as all your contribution to Bandai Japan :)

The picture shown above as Zaku Matsu-san taking a farewell group photo with all the staffs at Bandai Hobby Team; with a display board in front of him stating the date which he officially left Bandai Hobby Center.

Zaku Matsu-san has been working with Bandai Hobby Center for more than 40 years, the legacy he has brought forth with all his works are highly respectable and deserves a lot of appreciation not only from Bandai, but all the Gundam and Gunpla fans all around the world.

Once again, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to you Zaku Matsu-san, Thank You very much for all your contributions in the Gunpla industry and we hope that Bandai will continue to make even better Gunplas together with the legacy that you have brought to us.

We wish you happy retirement and stay healthy and happy always!! :D
